Welcome to Kilbane Farms. We balance a 40 acre sheep farm, a small construction company (Achill Construction), a professional career, and a big blended family of 11 (he had 2 girls, she had 2 girls, we have 4 boys and a girl). How well we do that depends on the day. This website includes thoughts on family, farming and fiber arts. You will also find our farm shop here for natural lamb and wool.
About
At Kilbane Farms we strive to be as natural as possible. We don’t use pesticides or chemical fertilizers on the pasture. Our sheep are given the least amount of antibiotics and other medication needed, and our lambs rarely receive any – only when absolutely needed for their health.
Our shop has lamb sold by the whole or 1/2 animal. We butcher once a year in the fall, but you can reserve your lamb at any time with full payment due in the fall to schedule delivery. We also sell our wool in it’s raw state for spinners and hunters.
