This Cheviot sheep wool is skirted, but not washed. That means we pulled away the most soiled parts of the wool, but many less soiled parts remain as well as vegetation.
This wool is ideal for hunters seeking a strong smelling wool or for those interested in making wool from start to finish including washing, carding, and spinning. Cheviot wool is also exceptional for felting.
Our sheep are raised naturally on our family farm. Our sheep graze and live an animal’s life the way it should be. Outside and natural.
Please note: this wool is truly natural and straight from the sheep. We recommend opening the bag outside, as odors can build during delivery.
